Sarnath, There is the place that Siddhattha told his understanding at first.
Today, I went to Sarnath, one of my purpose of this journey had come true.

I got up slightly lately and had a breakfast on the roof of guest house.
I think the meal of Varanasi is not good, maybe there is exactly tourist place,
actually restaurant in Dehradun was more delicious and bigger potion
and cheaper than Varanasi.

I could go through the Vishwanath market, because I've confirmed the way to
Dashashwamedh road, in Godowlia circus there was a lot of auto drivers,
they grabbed my arm to get me on their auto.
Because I never get on auto as long as the price has not decided.
I stared negotiation about price, but some of them could not understand English,
so I tried to negotiate in Hindi,

Kitne paisa he? mujhe Sarnath jana cahataa he.
but he looked like he could not understand.
suddenly the person who said that I'm nepali had come.
his price was just 300 RS.
so I've decided to ride his auto.

In half way to Sarnath, there was a heavy traffic jam and smog dust.
Though I wore a mask but it didn't work..
after 1 hour, I got to Sarnath.

There was a big garden and some kind of Buddhism temple.
First of all I went to garden, it has Ashoka's Pillar and Dhamekh Stupa.
after paying 100 Rs at entrance, I saw peaceful garden.
many people was relaxing, some monk was praying.
peaceful and calm atmosphere in there.

The base of Ashoka's Pillar had saved perfectly, it had built approx 6 BC.
and Dhamekh Stupa is repairing now little bit, it had also built approx 6 BC.
but the pattern of them has left exactly.

after that I went to Mulgandha Kuti Vihar, it is new temple with a lot of flowers.
in side this temple, I saw the art that had drawn the life of Siddhattha.
besides the artist is Japanese! I was surprised and inspired!

Then i went to jainist temple, Archaeological Museum.
in Archaeological Museum it has strictly prohibited to take photo.
I've been checked my belongings 2 times before entering.

I visited all of them, I could feel Buddism world, though I know several form of temple,
Buddha's understanding is same for all Buddhist.
We have to pray and thing about world peace with his understanding.
auto driver sometimes guided for me about these places.
After going back to Varanasi, I paid small tip for him.

At that time I was starving so much, so I looked for a restaurant.
in Bengali Tola Rd, I went to "Spicy Bites".
all in all it was not delicious..

after having lunch I walked around Ghat and avoided silly Indians.
maybe I was called 20 times about drug and sex shop.
It is also India hahaahaha. I know respectable Indians so I felt strong pity for silly people.

Tomorrow I have to get up 4 AM, so I have to confirm the way to the Varanasi
station, and sleep very early.
Finally I'm going to Buddha Gaya.

【旅行】北インド 古都周遊の旅 その2

Today I head on ancient city Varanasi,

so I had to check out early around 8 a.m.

This morning in new delhi I saw cheater increased compared with yesterday.

Then I went to ND airport station.

I think it is very expensive to get to Airport by metro,

because it costs 150 RS from ND, maybe around 200 yen I guess.

When I bought a ticket of metro, I said "thanks ma'am".

I got habit to say ma'am for lady and ji for men.

but Indian people looked like comfortable. It is Indian English.

India has Caste, discrimination based on Hindism, so they think great deal of 

position they belong to.

after getting to Airport, I faced a big problem.

There was a lot of passengers and so long queue!!

at first I had to queue to go inside airport.

It took 20 min..then I queued to check in, it took 40 min 

and I same queued to be check my body and belongings.

When I finished all process, the departure time was almost there.

I felt upset and swear to arrive before 2 hours minimum.

Airport was saved by strictly security.

Eventually I was checked my belongings 4 times till I boarded.

In the air, I could saw Himalaya.

after 2 hours, safely I got to Varanasi airport.

in my first impression, it was very very rural.

there was a few Japanese but I ignored them,

that's why they were with Japanese tourist company.

so I wanted to disturb.

after checking my luggage I asked taxi counter,

"I want to go to dhasa shuwamede road, how much?"

"It costs 600 RS"

Though i knew it was very expensive but I want to go 

ghat as much as possible.

The driver talked a lot, so I was doubting him and I didn't speak to him.

when it reached shasa shuwamed almost, he said

"can I pick up my friend?? no problem just my friend"

i said "don't pick up him" but he didn't obey.

he said "My duty finished after this you can get his support"

He force to lead me and finally he followed me in guest house.

I strongly reject his SUPPORT.

now I'm staying in Pujaa guest house.

It has restaurant on roof and in night time tabra and shitaal show case would come out.

I had a light lunch and went outside.

There was so many narrow road and a lot of animal especially dogs.

nonetheless there were so so many people.

that's why Pujaa guest house is located on Manikarnika ghat.

Manikarnika ghat is kind of crematory, around there it is strictly prohibited taking photos.

After taking a rest, I went to Manikarnika ghat.

but there was too much complicated way and a lot of people.

some of them spoke to me in Japasene.

"Konichiwa- kasouba mita?? ato miru??"

too much annoying!

about 15 min after, I faced burnt human.

its fire was rising highly and they were singing saint songs.

after that, I walked around.

because I needed to get used to Varanasi road.

where did they learn such words..

I don't know why I dislike Indian who speak Japanese.

I would doubt as long as they speak Japanese.

I want to suggest if you earn money from Japanese, don't speak Japanese.

After it was getting dark, I went to see pujaa around Dhasashuwamed ghat.

It was very spiritual, there were a lot of Indian and tourist also.

sometimes sung and sometimes rolling fire base,

I saw pujaa from Ganga side on the ship.

Some boy was came to me to buy flower, but I didn't buy it because I'm not Hindism.

I think Varanasi is very similar to Haridwar but slightly bigger.

from all India so many people came to pray for Ganga.

Varanasi has 5000 years over history.
After I die, Varanasi would be continuing forever with Ganga,
till the earth die.

Tomorrow I'm going to Sarnath and opposite side of Ganga.

This is my purpose to come to Varanasi.

Finally my RoseMount Days had finished yesterday,
then I'm going traveling to Indian ancient cities.

this morning, I greeted Madhukar ji and his family.
"Thank you for your all help and support and kindness. Best wishes for you and your family".
then he said "pls don't say thank you, you are my friend
pls come back to meet us again with your wife next time" I was really moved..

and also I said good bey for hostel members.
my hostel mates gave me some souvenir and
say good bey with smiling. I was feeling seriously sentiment.
but I have to overcome this feelings that's why I'm going to travel from now!
and in Japan my wife is waiting for me!

Yesterday, Madhukar ji booked taxi that takes me to Jolly Grant air port
(Dehradun Airport) and request to come to hostel around 12:30,
so I was waiting with talking to hostel members. sometimes going out and taking a photo.

I don't know why but taxi had come around 12, but I had not finished packing
because I lent my laptop for my room mate. then I was in hurry to prepare.
though I'm never satisfied no matter how many times I say thank to RoseMount.
I have to go!

There was 3 or 4 heavy traffic jam in half way to Jorry Grant.
It took 2 hours, I was almost likely to miss my plane.

It was very helpful that taxi came to hostel early.

In the plane, I thought about RoseMount and face of people that I met there.
I was wondering I can come here again or not and meet them again.
after 40 min, I got to New Delhi, then I looked for New Delhi Metro station.
4 years ago, Metro had come out in New Delhi therefore it became very easy to
get to New Delhi railway station.
Before Metro had been built, it was very difficult to get to there,
because there is a lot of cheater in front of arrival gate and
they called the passenger and took them to fake tourist office.
Nowadays it has been totally different.

When I got on the Metro, I was feel like being in Japan.
Actually New Delhi Metro had been developed by Japanese company.
I felt the Metro was very smoothly as something is sliding on the ice.

Then I also got to New Delhi Metro, it took just 15 min from airport.
Actually I prepared about many cheaters around station.
though there was a lot of cheaters but I didn't feel it was not so disgusting.
Maybe I had got use to India.

It was slightly warm compared with Dehradun.
I got a lot of sweat, that's why it was 10 degree in Dehradun.
I think it may be 20 degree though it is night time now.

after that I headed on Pahar Ganj, It is placed on in front of railway station.
some traveler confused to find main bazar, but I could find very soon and
I had no idea about such a confusing. and I could find good guest house also.
then I took hot shower for the first time in 2 days.

Today's dinner is Palak Paneer again.
I went to restaurant ,Green Chili, and again I ordered these meals.
when I visited there, there were 2 old tourist in the restaurant.

they drunk bears, I realized Pahar Ganj is famous tourist place.
but It was very nice restaurant, I promised I would come again after 1 week.

Tomorrow I would go to Varanasi.
I can't wait.

【日常】ローズマウントスクール卒業

久しぶりの日本語での更新です。
遂に、我がRoseMount schoolを卒業する事ができました。
そして昨日無事にサーティフィケイトをいただきました。

英語はインターミディエイトの認定を
ヒンディはファンデーションの認定をもらいました。

念のために書いておきますが、ローズマウントはケンブリッジの
公式イングリッシュスクールです。
このサーティフィケイトはケンブリッジの証明と同等の意味があります。

インターミディエイトの上はポストインターミディエイト
その上の上はネイティブというランク付けらしいです。
これに恥じぬ様に日本に帰ってもしっかり勉強は続けます。

ここに来て、本当に効果的な勉強法を得る事が出来ました。
それはすべてを英語で考える。
日本語でどういうんだろうって考えるから日本人はしゃべる時
なかなか英語が出てこないですね。
これを習慣づける事が出来ればもっと僕の英語も良くなると思います。

ヒンディーに関しては予習をしていたという事もあってか
レストランでの注文、駅で目的地を聞く位の能力はついたと思います。
ヒンディーの先生も言っていましたが
言語はそれぞれ全く違うから絶対に、自分の言語で理解しようとしてはいけない
といっていました。

昨日は最終日でした。
本当にセンチメンタルな気分になります。
インドの人たちは本当に、別れを惜しんでくれて
プレゼントをくれたり、ある種の社交辞令的なものを全く感じませんでした。

僕がインド料理が趣味だって言ってたから
シバニマアムはフルオーガニックのスパイスをお土産にと。
他にも必要なものがあったらインドから送るからねって。
うれしくて泣けてきます。

クラスメイト達は言いました。
俺の環境はうらやましいくらい勉強を続ける環境に適していると。
嫁も英語を話せて、ボスも英語を話さないとコミュニケーションできない。
皆、そんなの最高じゃないかって。

本当にこの学校に来てよかったよ。ローズマウント。
皆、絶対に戻ってきてくれ。嫁を紹介してほしい。
先生達も何か困った事や英語の事インドの事何でもメールしてくれって。
うれしいですね。

それと、私事ですが卒業後どうするかというと
日本に帰国する前にインドをフラっと旅行しようと考えています。
そんでもってこれからまたあのダラダラと長い旅行記が始まりますので
興味のある人のみおつきあいください。

それでは別れは本当に寂しいですが
今朝インド人に注意されました。

अाज मेरी अनतिम दिन है (今日は僕の最終日なんだ)
って言うと、人生が続く限りそんな事言うなと
人生が続く限り、そんな日は無いと。

別れは本当に悲しいですが
インド人達の常に楽しむ、何でも楽しめれば何とかなるという教訓を
体現している彼らから学びました。

また彼らと合える事、またここに皆に会いに戻って来れる事を
楽しみに、これからのインドの獣道を楽しんで行きたいと思います。

【英語】EMS

Finally my final day is coming closer, so today I went to government post office and
tired to send my parcel to Japan.
Actually I asked my counsellor to send my parcel yesterday, but it costed 16 thousand rupees!
that's why it is a private courier service.
I could not pay 16 thousand more and I reject very soon.
so today I meant to use government delivery service.

First of all I went to GPO(government post office), it place nearby clock tower in Rajpur road.
and I asked price and how long it will take to reach at Japan.
He said it costed 5 thousand 4 hundred rupees for 12 KG.
I've decided to send from GPO very soon and ask again how I do at first.

I think Indian delivery service has slightly strange system compared with other country's one.
because if you want to send something to outside India or inside,
you need to roll around by white cloth and sow its corner.
it is necessary for security and to prevent parcel from damage.

I knew about it so I felt little bit annoy about doing like that.
but GPO stuff said "you don't need these kind of white cloth as long as you use EMS".
I'm very very grad of it.
Rolling by white cloth also costs small money though.
I think this information is so useful for foreigner that is living in India.

Off course EMS service is slightly expensive than normal delivery plan,
but we don't have any choice to send parcel safely.
One Indian said private service sometime lost our parcel,
but GPO has a reliance for whole India.
So you don't need any stress and anxiety about that.

And I went to coffee shop for taking a rest,
then I met 2 japanese, they came from Canada.
What coincident!! then I recommended the places I like,
and explained how to go there also.

Therefore I will go to GPO again.
I hopefully pray that my parcel would reach at Japan.
It has a lot of my souvenir and memories.
